Destined to cross paths in a Land-Disaster'd desert town, they formed in 2017 to create The Busted Uglies, crafting a unique blend of reggae-tinged rock 'n' roll. With original members Ben-Ryan Treat (vocals and guitar) and Tyler Vaughn-Salazar (bass and backup vocals), their journey has been one of remarkable evolution. In 2022, they revitalized their sound by welcoming Jonathan Berumen (drums and percussion) to the lineup, followed by Cayton “Caytones” Waller (guitar and backup vocals) in 2024. With these changes, The Busted Uglies are emerging as a dynamic powerhouse, captivating audiences and igniting excitement wherever they perform.

 

The Busted Uglies' debut EP, "YesterdaZe," they recorded in their living room and bedrooms, which the boyz dubbed The Fanchón Sesšións, cementing their dedication and passion to share their music with the world. YesterdaZe is a vibrant celebration that invites listeners into a world of infectious, party-driven reggae-tinged rock. Each track is crafted to get audiences moving, making it a good time for any party you're       tryin' to start. The Busted Uglies have supported international artists such as   Long Beach Dub All-Stars, Snailmate, 8Kalacas, Joint Operation & played alongside Gym Class Heroes.
